Provider Appreciation Day, a non-profit corporation, welcomes corporate or individual support. Creating a new "Day" is not easy especially when it is a day honoring childcare providers. Childcare providers have traditionally occupied the lowest rung of the early childhood professional ladder when it comes to wages, working conditions and respect. We hope by promoting a National day of recognition and appreciation, we can get all people to take a look at how they feel about this critical segment of our workforce.
